UNION OBJECTIVES
The overall goal of the Union is to promote in accordance with cooperative principles, the socio-economic interests of its members and more particularly,
To encourage better farming, particularly through improved methods of agriculture and land utilization
To engage to the cooperative processing and marketing of socio agricultural produce of members as may from time to time be decided
To obtain on behalf of members agricultural building requirements.
To make loans against adequate security members for productive purpose or for crop finance
To acquire such land, building, machinery and vehicles and to provide accommodation, transport and other services as are necessary for proper fulfillment of these objects
To encourage in members the spirit and practice of thrift, mutual help and self-help
To acquire land for farming and ranching purposes
To become members of any National Cooperative Union or Apex organization in Uganda
To invest profitably in any other business that promotes the interests of the members economically subjection to the provision of section 33 of the cooperative societies regulations 1992
